What's my secret sauce?

I believe I have human capital in various ways:
I lived in Austria for most of my life and I have traveled to many places around the world. This makes me cultural educated and this also made me an extremely diverse person that can adapt to new environments. I am also very outgoing and I can make anyone my friend or build social capital with them. I am extremely driven and do not stop working on things I believe in, which also makes me never give up on things I really support.

Jack my very good friend talked about my mindset and my determination. He also claimed that I am extremely easy to talk to and said I am a free spirit. He also admires my focus.

Nicola says I am a people person that is also good with animals, children and old people. She also claimed that I am very believable and can sell my ideas or a product/service well.

She admired me for being brave and following my own path and not letting anyone distract me from it. She also says I have an incredible drive that makes me unstoppable.

Maxi claimes that I am incredible with people. He says he can throw me into any situation and I do fine with anyone.

She also claimes me to be an incredible ability to connect with people. She says I am extremely positive.

Due to the fact that all of these people know me so well, my view and their view are almost identical. This is also a result of me being very realistic and me knowing my strengths and weeknesses. One fact that really stands out is that I am an extreme extrovert that has to be around other people. This fact helps me a lot to decide my future career path. There are some interesting opinions that I have never heard before, for example, me being great with old people and animals. Overall this assignment helped me confirm my beliefs about myself and recognize some new interesting strengths of mine.  It also feels good hearing people you love tell you what they admire about you.

  1. Hello Steve,
I think that living in Austria for most of your life is certainly unique and interesting. I can see how that generates a greater sense of cultural awareness and gives you a little more insight on how consumers react globally within these different markets around the world. Being outgoing and social will allow you to grow your business concept and make people more interested in learning more about it. Connecting with people is important in building relationships and creating strong feedback for your product, something that you mentioned earlier that the segment you identified valued heavily in assignment 15. I also think that having a strong work-ethic and being driven is especially important for an entrepreneur since you will likely face many challenges/obstacles immediately. The mindset and attitude you take on will directly affect how successful you are in overcoming these challenges.

  2. Hey Steve,
I think that your world travels do give you a distinct advantage over a lot of people in this world. It allowed you to see the different needs of different cultures which could help you define an opportunity later in life. Additionally, I think its really cool how three out of your five interviewees mentioned your people skills. Your ability to talk to everyone and make them feel welcome is a real asset that I think will serve you well in life.
